Peterborough City Council will switch to a new way of displaying the hygiene standards of food businesses to consumers. The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) will be launched on the 1st April 2012. The scheme will replace the current Scores on the Doors Scheme.
Regular inspections on food premises in Peterborough ensure that the public are protected, the law is complied with and that high standards are maintained.
Registration of premises used for food business (including market stalls, delivery vehicles, and other moveable structures) is required by law.
You may need approval if you produce dairy products, meat products, fishery products, egg products, minced meat or meat preparations.
