Fostering

The city council's fostering service is looking to recruit up to 40 new fostering households to join its existing team of skilled and dedicated carers. Foster carers receive preparation, ongoing supervision and generous financial support.

We appreciate that choosing to foster a child is not a decision to be taken lightly.  Many people think about fostering for a long time before they contact us. We hope these pages will explain the different options available to you and help you feel more informed and ready to take the next step.
