What is fostering
Satisfying, rewarding and great fun, fostering is about
providing a caring and safe environment in your home for children
and young people, including those who have disabilities and/or
challenging behaviour.
Fostering can be undertaken either full or part-time
and ranges from a few hours to a few months and beyond. Like all
parenting it can be challenging, but also extremely rewarding.
Working with support from the city council fostering service,
the child's family and other professionals, you will help these
children fulfill their potential and achieve security, stability
and happiness.
