Bretton Children's Centre

Children’s centres support families with children under five. They offer easy access to free health and family support, help with finding jobs and training, drop-in sessions, and activities and information about local childcare and early education. All our children’s centres are based locally, so there should be one, or plans for one close to you.

What services are available?

We are one of 12 Peterborough City Council run Children's Centres and have been open since 2006. We offer a wide variety of activities and services for the families of Bretton and their children aged from 0-5 years. In holiday periods, older siblings are also welcome although we do give priority to regular centre users as our sessions are very popular and there is usually a waiting list in operation.

Opening Times

We are open Monday to Friday from 08:30am - 5:30pm. We also offer a Saturday Dad's Group on the first Saturday of each month and a Family Saturday on the fourth Saturday of each month. And we run sessions from our Copeland satellite in South Bretton therefore offering families in the south of the area local access to some of our  activities.

We really look forward to seeing you - please feel free to drop in and have a coffee and chat to find out more about what we do and what we can offer you and your family. Our small, friendly and professional team offer you a warm welcome, will be happy to answer any questions you may have and are keen to hear your ideas for services you would like to see offered.
