The Common Assessment Framework (CAF) is a shared assessment tool for use across all services for children. It aims to help early identification of children with additional needs and promote co-ordinated service provision.
The ‘Transforming Children’s Services’ consultation, which set out how we propose to deliver integrated services to children, young people and families in Peterborough, closed on 19 January 2010, but an update on the consultation will be available here in the near future.
Workforce development is the mechanism to equip paid staff and volunteers (including trustees) with skills and knowledge so that they can effectively deliver and improve services for children, young people and families.
The Government has announced that on 6 August it will switch off the ContactPoint Database and will subsequently decommission it, safely removing and destroying the existing data.
The Commissioning Enabling Group, which has membership from statutory, voluntary and private partners, has been working on establishing robust Childrens Trust Partnership wide commissioning processes.
The aim of the standards is to ensure that all organisations have a robust benchmark for safe processes when they recruit staff.
The Children’s Trust Partnership Board have agreed that all policies and decisions made by the trust will have an Equality Impact Assessment.
Securing young people’s access to high quality Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) is essential if the 14-19 reforms are to succeed.
Peterborough has produced a progress report which evaluates how well we are delivering against the recommendations.
