Children in Care Council

The Children in care council (CiCC) meet every month and allows young people in care to voice their opinions, feelings and thoughts about the care system.

The aim of the CiCC is to improve the quality of life for Children in Care by making sure they are listened. They then take issues they feel need improving to decision makers at a corporate parenting meeting. It is a lot of fun with loads of different and interesting opportunities to get involved with. They arrange activities for the school holidays such as Art Days, Bowling, sports activities and so much more! They also get the opportunity to go to consultations for Children in care in great cities such as London! It is a great opportunity to make new friends and have fun.

If you would like some information, want us to do something or you are a Child in Care who wants to join us please contact us.
