Appeals process

Peterborough City Council strives to place every child within a preferred school placement.  However, it may be that this is not possible, or a parent, carer or child is unhappy with the allocation offered. This section offers guidance to parents, carers and children who wish to appeal against a decision.

For parents wishing to lodge an appeal regarding reception, Year 1 or Year 2 places at a school will need to complete the Infant Class Legislation appeal form and return it to the address on the form.
