School admission determined arrangements 2010 and co-ordinated
scheme
Each year we must consult on, determine and publish our
admission arrangements for those schools for which we are the
Admission Authority. We are the Admission Authority for
Community and Voluntary Controlled schools. In Academies,
Foundation and Voluntary Aided schools, the Governors are the
Admission Authority for the school. In addition, we must consult on
and publish a Co-ordinated Admission Scheme for Primary and
Secondary Schools.
It is possible for parents to object to the Schools Adjudicator
about the final version of a policy determined by the Governors of
a Foundation or Voluntary Aided School, provided this is done
within six weeks of the policy appearing on this website. Any
objection to an Academy's admission arrangements must be considered
by the Secretary of State.
