Please complete a separate application form for each child, the
contribution, which is subject to a yearly review, is as
follows:
- £180 half year payment per family for a return
journey
- £180 per year per family for a one way journey
- £360 per year per family for a return journey
If your family is receiving Income Support, Income Based Job
Seekers Allowance, Income-related Employment Support or
Pension Credit and you are applying for free transport please
provide documentary evidence of receipt of benefit. You may obtain
a letter from the Benefits agency or bring evidence of receipt of
benefit to:

- You must notify the passenger transport operations team
immediately to check if you are still eligible for help with
transport. If your child no longer requires his or her bus pass,
please return it to the passenger transport operations team. If you
are not sure whether your child is entitled to subsidised post 16
transport please telephone customer service centre. All
parents are responsible for ensuring that their child is in
possession of a valid bus pass and must ensure that payment is made
10 working days prior to the commencement of the travel
period.
