Aim of consultation

The purpose of the consultation is to seek views about the important changes around Council Tax Benefit from 1 April 2013, imposed by the Government.

Method of consultation

Completing an online consultation questionnaire, a copy of which was also available at the bottom of this page.

Results will be available

Closing date for comments Monday 5 November 2012. After the consultation period, views will be considered to inform the final design of the local scheme.    

Using the results

We must inform the Government to our final scheme by the end of January 2013. 

Marketing: How the consultation and its results will be cascaded to respondents and to the wider public

Your views will help us develop the final scheme which will be considered by Full Council by the end of January 2013.
