Consultations
It is really important for us that local residents can
express their views in advance of decisions and that we listen and
act on those views. It is also important that we
share the results of those consultations with the people who
took part with reasons about why we can or cannot do something. We
want to provide the opportunity for interested parties to be
involved and contribute to the city’s development, growth, society
and changes. We have a Citizens' Panel where you can tell us
in a survey how we are doing and join focus groups. You
can also attend some of the consultation days that we host.

We held our third Citizens Panel survey in three years in late spring/early summer 2008.
We are required by law to consult on a number of other issues where a decision is needed.
