Central and East neighbourhood committee area

The seven committees are split among three distinct areas of the city: central and east, south, and north and west. Councillor John Peach is chairman of central and east.

Councillor John Peach

Councillor John Peach has been a Conservative Councillor since May 1997 in Park Ward, which is the same year as Peterborough became a Unitary Authority and prior to that he was a member of Cambridgeshire County Council he currently sits on Sustainable Growth Scrutiny Committee, Environmental Capital Scruiny Committee, Licensing Committee and Chair of the Central and North Neighbourhood Committee also a school Governor at Deacon's School and Peterborough Regional College.

 

Meet the neighbourhood manager - Cate Harding

Cate Harding

Cate was a neighbourhood director with the Greater Dogsthorpe Partnership before taking up her neighbourhood manager post in the same area. Originally from Nottingham, Cate and her husband Mark moved to the city in 2006. Cate has been instrumental in the development work that has ensured the neighbourhood management programme is rolled out across the city.
