Neighbourhood councils

Our new neighbourhood councils give you the chance to get involved in decisions about the issues and services affecting your area.

Central and East

The seven councils are split among three distinct areas of the city: central and east, south, and north and west. Councillor Yvonne Lowndes is chairman of central and east.

North and West

The seven councils are split among three distinct areas of the city: central and east, south, and north and west. Councillor Pat Nash is chairman of north and west.

South

The seven councils are split among three distinct areas of the city: central and east, south, and north and west. Councillor Janet Goodwin is chairman for south.

Council meetings

The neighbourhood councils are a new way for you to give your views about issues and services in your area, in your own community, rather than having to attend meetings in the Town Hall.

What are they?

The councils are made up of elected city council members, representatives from parish councils, the police authority, fire authority, local community groups, plus ordinary members of the public.

Peterborough wide

The Peterborough wide neighbourhood manager has special responsibility for travellers, rural communities and the voluntary sector.
