How to find the Register Office
All birth, death, marriage and civil partnership facilities
are on the ground floor with easy wheelchair access. There are two
waiting rooms, one for births and deaths and one for ceremony
parties. A public pay phone is available for use within the
office.
Directions
Peterborough Register Office is on the south side of Thorpe Road
near the Crescent railway bridge. When approaching Peterborough by
car follow the signs for the City Centre and then for the Register
Office. Car parking is available at the office.
- From A1 South turn off at Junction
17 Peterborough. Keep in the right lane on the slip road and
join the A1139 (dual carriageway -Fletton Parkway).
- From A1 North exit at Junction 17 and join the A1139 (dual
carriageway - Fletton Parkway).
- From A605 after the 'Extra' services, continue over the
roundabout crossing over the A1(M) and follow
the signs for Peterborough (A1139).
You will see a 'Peterborough Welcome' sign on the left. After
two miles take the left turn for the City Centre at Exit 3 (joining
the dual carriageway - Nene Parkway). After one and a half
further miles you will cross the river and take a left slip-road
for the City Centre (Exit 33). Keep right in the slip road and turn
right to the City Centre (dual carriageway - Longthorpe
Parkway). After a mile cross the roundabout and continue along
Thorpe Road. The Register Office is on the right hand side just
before the Crescent Railway Bridge.
From A47 East turn left onto the slip road and continue for
half a mile (dual carriageway - Nene Parkway). Take the next left
turn to the city centre (dual carriageway - Longthorpe Parkway).
After a mile cross the roundabout and continue along Thorpe Road.
The Register Office is on the right hand side just before the
Crescent Railway Bridge.
From the A47 West (dual carriageway - Soke Parkway) take
Junction 15 signposted to London A1260 (A1) follow the signs for
the City Centre and continue for half a mile (dual carriageway Nene
Parkway). Take the next left turn to the city centre (dual
carriageway - Longthorpe Parkway). After a mile cross the
roundabout and continue along Thorpe Road. The Register Office is
on the right hand side just before the Crescent Railway Bridge.
