2012 Elections

On 3 May 2012 there will be local elections in 19 of the city wards and 6 parishes. Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm on Thursday 3 May.

You can register to vote by downloading the personal registration form or you can telephone the Helpline for a registration form, this form has to be completed and returned by 18 April 2012.

You can vote by post if you wish by downloading the postal voting form or telephone the Helpline and request a form is sent to you, postal vote application forms must be completed and returned by 5pm 18 April in order for you to vote by post.

Anyone who has registered to vote by post should receive their postal vote by 28 April. If you have not received your postal vote by 28 April or have any other queries about the local elections please contact our Helpline on 01733 452249 for assistance. Further information is available from The Electoral Commission.

Peterborough City Council has set up an election fraud hotline and anyone who has any concerns can report them by calling (01733) 452250. Any concerns will be referred to the police for investigation. Alternatively, if you believe an offence is in progress contact police on 0345 456 456 4.
