Good going

Good going is a pledge-based travel campaign that aims to raise awareness and promote alternative transport modes. The aims of good going strongly mirror those of the Travelchoice project; to promote more sustainable methods of travel such as walking, cycling, public transport, car sharing and the use of low pollution vehicles. Good going also highlights how the public and private sectors are working in partnership to cut traffic congestion, reduce vehicle emissions and encourage people to choose more active forms of travel in Peterborough.

The good going pledge

The good going pledge lies at the heart of the project. Those that pledge their support agree to try and reduce traffic congestion and vehicle emissions in the city.
