Peterborough - Sustainable Travel Demonstration Town
Peterborough City Council has been awarded £3.24m from
the Department for Transport to help transform the city into a
'Sustainable Travel Demonstration Town'.
Out of an initial submission of over 50 towns throughout the
UK, Peterborough has been selected as one of three towns to share
£10m of government funding. The funding is allocated over a
five year period and will form the foundation of sustainable
transport options in Peterborough.
