Detailed assessment

Due to the predicted excess levels of sulphur dioxide highlighted in the updating and screening assessment (2006) a detailed assessment of sulphur dioxide has been written.  The objective of a detailed assessment is to provide an accurate assessment of the likelihood of an air quality objective being exceeded at locations with relevant exposure.  This should be sufficiently detailed to allow the designation or amendment of any necessary Air Quality Management Areas.

The Detailed Assessment of sulphur dioxide was written using information supplied by a neighbouring local authority
(Fenland District Council) and is available below.

In response to the Detailed Assessment (2006) we have declared an Air Quality Management Area.
