The 2006 Updating and Screening Assessment of Air Quality in
Peterborough concluded that the air quality objectives
had been achieved. Sulphur Dioxide levels are predicted
to increase due to emissions from an industrial
process. Consequently, Peterborough City Council has written a
Detailed Assessment and further work has been undertaken on an Air
Quality Management Area.
