Updating and screening assessments

The 2006 air quality review by Peterborough City Council known as the Updating and Screening Assessment of Air Quality in Peterborough looked at a variety of emission sources.  The review assessed whether the air quality satisfied national health based  objectives  to safeguard human health.

The 2006 Updating and Screening Assessment of Air Quality in Peterborough concluded that the air quality objectives had been achieved. Sulphur Dioxide levels are predicted to increase due to emissions from an industrial process. Consequently, Peterborough City Council has written a Detailed Assessment and further work has been undertaken on an Air Quality Management Area.
