Sensory support

Sensory support services for blind, visually impaired, deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind people.

The sensory support services team can assist you if you have sight or hearing loss or if you are deafblind or if you require British Sign Language (BSL) Support. The team can also support your carer.

Social workers with good communication skills, rehabilitation workers for the visually impaired and technicians can provide information, advice, equipment and support. They can commission services for you so that your independence and quality of life can be improved within your home and community.
