Places of interest

Our modern city hides a great deal of history. The magnificent Cathedral with its impressive architecture is also the resting place of Katharine of Aragon, first wife of Henry VIII. Flag Fen Bronze-Age archaeological site displays artefacts found on site in its museum, including the oldest wheel in Britain. Peterborough Museum has a new look hands-on archaeology gallery and contains one of the best collections of marine dinosaurs in the world, apart from the fact that the building is said to be the most haunted in the city!
