Can I get a reduced price card?

The following people are eligable for a reduced price card. The appropriate evidence outlined below will be required to be produced with your application. 

Senior citizens over 60 years

  • Bus pass
  • Driving license
  • Passport or proof of date of birth

People receiving benefits or registered job seekers

Letter from job centre confirming allowance.

Income support

Letter from Benefits Agency confirming allowance or allowance book

Working tax credit

Letter from Inland Revenue confirming allowance or allowance book

Council tax benefit

Council Tax Benefit confirmation letter or Council Tax Benefit book

Housing benefit

Letter from Housing Benefits confirming benefits award

Students

Current 'full-time' Student Union Card, college enrolment letter or official letter from school confirming 'full-time' educational status

Trainees on government schemes

Letter of confirmation on headed paper from training agency or job centre

Under 16's

Birth Certificate

Incapacity benefit

Letter from Benefits Agency confirming allowance or allowance book

Disability living allowance

Letter from Benefits Agency confirming allowance or allowance book

Invalid care allowance

Letter from Benefits Agency confirming allowance

People with a disability who receive benefit and require assistance from a carer (you and your helper)

Official letter from your Doctor confirming the need for a carer. Applications should be made in the name of the person with a disability and sent to Sports Services, Regional Fitness and Swimming Centre, Bishops Road, Peterborough PE1 5BW.

Groups of people with special needs who require assistance

Applications must be made in writing to the manager of the leisure facility. The letter must be on official headed paper from group, organisation, school, club, society etc.

Full-time carers who receive benefits

Letter from Benefits Agency confirming benefit/s received.

People with a disability who receive benefit

Letter from Benefits Agency confirming benefit/s received.
