KYT is the Key's
own Youth Theatre. It currently has over 200 members and is
widely regarded as the best of it's kind in the local area.
KYT offers young people the chance to develop their performance
skills whilst working with it's fully professional and CRB checked
team
These sessions provide a fantastic opportunity to make new
friends and work with professional leaders to expand your
experience of the performing arts.
Auditions are held each September and places are
limited, however, you may still download or pick up an
application form from the Box Office and send it in to be contacted
if and when any places become available.
The timetable for sessions is as follows:
- KYT 1 - 9.00am to 10.30am (6-8 yrs)
- KYT 2 - 10.30am to 12.30pm (9-11 yrs)
- KYT 3 - 12.30pm to 2.30pm (12-14 yrs)
- KYT 4 - 2.30pm to 4.30pm (14-18 yrs)
Costs
The membership fee for KYT is £65 per term. Please be aware that
this is a termly cost and all attendees must pay for each term in
full. Members may still pay weekly, but missed sessions must be
paid for.

KYT Summer School
Key Summer Schools are the best in the Eastern
Region and this year will be no exception.
The Key Summer School involves acting,
movement, music and singing – plus loads of fun too!
If you’ve never been, don’t miss out! The Key
has a fantastic mix of interesting, talented young people guided by
professional actors, dancers and musicians. It really is the
experience of a lifetime and a great way to make new friends!!!
The Summer Schools are for children aged 8 –
18 and will take place over two weeks during the summer
holidays.

KYT SUMMER SCHOOL 2011
APPLICATION FORM
New for 2010 - KY Glee
A fantastic new performance group open to new and existing KYT
members of all ages. The group will be called KY Glee
following on from the the popularity of the hit TV series.
KY Glee will be a specific singing and dancing group that will
be run by Key Theatre Musical Director Steve Hession and KYT
Choreographer Lisa Collings and it is intended to put together a
group of 30 students that will attend sessions on a Wednesday
evening for two hours.
Auditions have been held, and sessions will commence on
Wednesday 29th September. Places are limited, however, you can
still complete an application form (from the Box Office, or below)
for consideration if and when places become available.
