Wireless internet access

Wireless internet access is now available at Peterborough Central library.

Student with laptopUse of Wi-Fi at Peterborough Central Library requires registration but is free of charge. Please email Library enquiries for more information or telephone on 01733 864280 and ask for Library Enquiries. All customer devices must be capable of sustaining their own power as Peterborough Libraries cannot provide access to a power supply. The installation of WiFi has been funded by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA).

Join the library

If you are not a member already joining the library is free of charge and brings huge benefits:

  • Internet access and e-mail.
  • Microsoft Office software for word-processing, spreadsheets and presentations.
  • colour printers and scanners - there is a charge to print per A4 sheet.
  • 1 free hour per day per person (for library members) with a charge for extra time.
