Inter-faiths council

Peterborough Inter-Faiths Council was set up in 1978 to encourage mutual understanding and common concern between Peterborough's various religious faiths, and including representatives of Baha', Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Sikh, Shia Muslim and Sunni Muslim groups.

Huntingdon Record Office holds:

  • Minutes 1978-1985, general correspondence 1976-1997 and papers concerning Peterborough Peace Festivals 1981 and 1983.
