Family learning
Entertaining the family can be tough, especially when there is a
big difference in ages. We try to bring history alive for the
whole family in a variety of ways at the museum, including events
and activities.
During the school
holidays we hold themed activities. There are usually arts
and craft activities every weekday morning from 10.30am 12.30pm and
costumed interpreters can often be seen roaming the building as
well.
We also create trails and quizzes for all the
family, ask at reception during your visit for more
information. There is a mini-trail available for under
5's.
We have interactive, hands-on activities in
all our galleries to keep the children interested. We even
have a range of activity boxes aimed especially at the under fives
and their families in galleries around the museum.
Many of Peterborough’s most popular cultural and sporting
facilities are part of Vivacity, an independent,
not-for-profit organisation with charitable status.

the trust on the Vivacity website.
