Haunted pubs and hotels

Lots of pubs and hotels around Peterborough claim to have had ghostly activity in them.

The Bull Hotel, Westgate (see photo, in an early 1900s postcard) - ghostly footsteps, the sound of unseen bunches of keys, and a phantom pet dog have been reported

Prezzo Italian restaurant (formerly O'Connell's pub and the Falcon Hotel), Cross Street - A ghostly man in 18th century clothes and a phantom Victorian lady have both been seen in this building.

The Verve Bar, Church Street - poltergeist activity has been reported in the cellar.

Orton Hall hotel - a white lady has been seen by guests and staff in various parts of the building.

The Cherry Tree, Oundle Road - A gentleman in Victorian clothing is said to haunt the building.

HG's pub, Cathedral Square - staff have often reported seeing a dark figure go upstairs, upon investigation they find there is nobody there.
