World of Wonderful Textiles

Peterborough Museum hosted an astonishing exhibition of textile-based artwork produced by talented women from the Peterborough area. The exhibition, entitled 'The World is our Rainbow, was a collection of work produced by members of the Peterborough Branch of the Embroiderer's Guild.

The exhibition featured works by over 20 members of the local guild, using a variety of textiles and techniques to produce pictures, models and other items using a rainbow of colours to produce a vibrant and eye-catching display.

Members of the Embroiderer's Guild are also ran three afternoon workshops to teach new skills or share ideas with others.
