Guided tours of the Museum

The Museum building is closed to the public during 2011 for a major refurbishment, and as such we cannot offer tours of the building. For more information on the refurbishment and upcoming offsite events, please visit our Museum redevelopment page.

We can provide guided tours of Peterborough Museum for individuals or groups, although these need to be booked at least a week in advance (subject to availability) and cost £5 for adults or £3 for concessions. Tours last about 90 minutes and cover the major items on display, the history of the museum building and include a look behind the scenes. We also offer these as  free, on spec tours as part of some events weekends throughout the year.
