For 2011 the Museum building is closed to the public for a £3.2
million refurbishment thanks to funding from Peterborough City
Council, the Heritage Lottery Fund and Vivacity. Although the
Museum building will be closed the museum service won’t stop. Look
out for our pop-up museum, events, schools sessions, activities,
touring exhibitions and much more at venues throughout the city.
Archaeological finds can be identified by bringing to Central
Library Archives.

Museum Redevelopment page.
Many of Peterborough’s most popular cultural and sporting
facilities are part of Vivacity, an independent,
not-for-profit organisation with charitable status.

the trust on the Vivacity website.
