Peterborough Adventure Centre

Peterborough Adventure Centre is the only outdoor activity centre in Peterborough. You can try your hand at a large range of adventurous activities including high and low ropes, mountain biking, orienteering, archery, aerial runway, slippery slope, outdoor peg-pole wall, indoor bouldering wall and problem solving activities. There is something for everyone at Peterborough Adventure Centre. It is not just about physical challenge; it’s about opportunities for team development and working together.

Corporate team away days

Break from the normal routine, for a memorable team building experience, right on your doorstep with a dedicated instructor for the day. Pre-booked activity sessions are also available for schools, community groups, birthday parties and family or friends who just want to have a fun adventure of their own.

Prices vary for each activity session, please call the centre today and ask for up to date details of the costs for each activity or you can download details of the prices.

Opening times

Peterborough Adventure Centre is open all year round at the following times:

  • Monday to Saturday 9.00am to 8.00pm

Age restriction

Activities are targeted at people aged 5+ (however some activities may be more suited to an older age range).

Dress Code

  • Appropriate clothing and footwear are required during the activity sessions e.g. trainers, jeans or tracksuit bottoms.
  • Dress for the weather if taking part in outdoor activities.
  • Changing room facilities are available.
  • All jewellery, badges, buckles; sharp and loose objects must be removed before each session.
  • Long hair should be tied back away from the face. Protective equipment will be provided for certain activities.

Peterborough Adventure Centre is situated in Paston, which is to the north of Peterborough.

By car…

The centre is only minutes away from the A1 and the A46 and there is easy access from the Parkway system. From the A47 Soke Parkway, exit junction 19 signposted Paston onto Topmoor Way. At the mini roundabout, turn right onto Paston Ridings. Take the second left onto Freston and the adventure centre in on the right.

By public transport…

Stagecoach currently operate a regular bus service from Peterborough Bus Station to Paston on the number 2 service, leaving from Bay 13. By cycling or walking…

Peterborough has excellent foot and cycle paths, including the Millennium Green Wheel network, in which Paston is linked. A comprehensive cycling map (Your Cycle Map Peterborough) can be purchased from the Travelchoice office at Peterborough bus station, the Tourist Information Centre in the Cathedral grounds and from most cycle shops.
