Bretton water park - update

29 August 2012.

We are pleased to confirm that Bretton Water Park will re-open to the public at 10.30am tomorrow morning (30 August). The results of further tests which were carried out on Saturday have come back today and are clear.

Paul Phillipson, Executive Director of Operations for Peterborough City Council, said: “I am delighted to announce that Bretton Water Park will re-open to the public tomorrow. As we have maintained from the beginning, public health safety is our main focus and the latest test results clearly show that the park is now safe to use. I’d also like to thank members of the public for their patience and I only hope they can now be rewarded with some nice weather in order to enjoy it.”

Ends.
