Tickets on sale for Peterborough's Last Night of the Proms

Tickets have gone on sale for Peterborough's very own Last Night of the Proms concert at The Key Theatre, Embankment Road, Peterborough, on Sunday 22 April 2012 at 7pm.

Key Theatre logoThe Mayor of Peterborough, Councillor Paula Thacker MBE, will be hosting Peterborough's Last Night of the Proms in aid of her chosen charities and is inviting people to join her for what will be an entertaining evening.

The RAF Wyton Band will re-create the atmosphere and music of the traditional concert held each year at The Royal Albert Hall.  A prize raffle will be held during the evening.

Councillor Thacker MBE said: "This event has become a highlight of the mayoral calendar and many of the residents I meet tell me how much they look forward to it.

"The RAF Wyton Band are superb and will make Peterborough's Last Night of the Proms an occasion to remember. Book your place now and help the Mayor's charities while having a fantastic evening out."

Tickets are £15 each, £12 concessions, and can be booked by calling the Key Theatre on (01733) 207239 or the Mayor's office on (01733) 452319 or you can book tickets online.

All proceeds will be donated to the Mayor's charities which are the Royal British Legion Women's Section and Find a Cure for Alex, Kidney Research UK.
