Terms and Conditions
By entering the run you agree to abide by the conditions of
entry and any race instructions given to you by the organisers and
officials of the Great Eastern Run.
The Great Eastern Run is delivered in accordance with UKA
rules and regulations. For further details please go to: www.ukathletics.net/road-running
- Applications will be accepted up to the entry limit (7,000) in the order of date received.
- If your entry is accepted your fee is not refundable, non-deferrable and non-transferable, even in the case of event cancellation.
- Any alterations to entries will be subject to a £10 administration fee.
- Any fees processed due to individuals submitting duplicate entries are non-refundable
- Your run number and full information pack will be sent out no later than 7 October 2008.

£19.50 for unaffiliated entrants.
Fun Run entries are at £5.

- Strict Entry Deadline: 6 October 2008
- Anyone who will be 17 or older on or before the event date may apply for entry.
- Only one application per entry will be accepted.
- All entrants are required to finish the race in 4 hours.
Parking:
Free parking will be made available to race entrants. You will
be sent a parking pass to display on your vehicle dashboard valid
all day for Sunday 12 October only. It is the entrants
responsibility to ensure you have parked in one of the 13 official
Peterborough City Council car parks. For details of the locations

For reasons of safety no entries are permissible from people
on roller skates, bicycles, in wheelbarrows, pushchairs, carrying
objects for charity etc.
No pets, dogs or horses. Only people with a guide dog will be
permitted and if we are advised, a position at the rear of the
field will be allocated.
All participants are strongly advised to consult their doctor
prior to undertaking any exercise programme.
The course is suitable for self-propelled wheelchairs
not hand cycles.
The Great Eastern Run adheres the UK Data Protection Act 1998,
and you have the right of access to your personal records held on
our computer.
By entering the run you give permission for the free use of
your name, voice or picture in any broadcast, telecast, advertising
promotion or other account of this event.
In the case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances we
will endeavour to stage the run at a later date if possible. In
such an eventuality all participants will be notified in writing.
Our entire liability in respect of all costs and expenses you may
incur as a result of such cancellation or delay will be the entry
price you have paid to take part in the event.

information by email and post on events and services provided by
