Access for all
The Museum has complete access to all of its permanent and temporary exhibition galleries and most of its public areas for all visitors
A lift is available to all floors, giving access to wheelchair users, pushchairs and buggies and those who have difficulty with stairs.
Access upstairs may be restricted for those with mobility problems during busy periods.
The Museum has parking on site for disabled badge holders which provides unrestricted access to the main entrance to the building.
Disabled Toilet facilities are available on site.
Most of the exhibition galleries have tactile displays which are particularly suitable for visitors with visual impairments.
