Supervision Order with Intensive Supervision and Surveillance Programme
A Supervision
Order can include a specified activity of Intensive Supervision and
Surveillance Programme. This is a very intensive order that
requires the young person to attend the Youth Offending Service, or
attend an activity organised or approved by the service, for at
least 25 hours per week and will include voice verification:
the young person will be required to make telephone calls from a
specific location at specific times of the day. When this call is
made, the young person will say a phrase which will be checked by a
computer at the call centre which compares the voice to a sample of
the young person's voice held on file. This order will
also include visits to the young person's home by youth workers
(known as Trackers). In addition to the supervision order, there
will be a Curfew Order.
