Curfew Order

This order allows the young person to move about freely during the day, but makes sure that they are at home during specified periods at night. A monitoring company will fit equipment into the young person's home address, and a 'bracelet' around the young person's ankle. The equipment in the house will detect if the bracelet goes outside the house, and inform the monitoring computer at a call centre. the computer then notifies the supervising officer who will attempt to find out why the young person was not in the house. If there is not a reasonable excuse the young person will be returned to court.
