What is conditional bail?
Conditional bail is when the police or courts set
conditions to ensure that you attend court and do not commit
offences or interfere with witnesses whilst on bail.
Conditions can also be imposed for your own safety.
Common conditions include not going within a certain distance of a
witness's house, or being subject to a curfew.
If you do not comply with these bail conditions you will be in
breach and can be arrested, brought before a magistrates'
court and may result in you being placed in custody.
