What to do if you think someone may have overdosed

Don't Panic!

Turn the person on his/her side if you suspect an overdose, (recovery position) and keep checking them.

Dial 999 and ask for an ambulance immediately, or ask someone to do it for you.

Shout for assistance, people may hear you to help.

Don't assume the person will come round.

Stay with them until ambulance arrives, if you don't, they may die.

Stay with people who may have taken too many drugs even if they are not yet showing signs of overdose.
