Claimant Self Service
NEW Online Benefit Enquiry Service
The Benefits service is now able to provide all
claimants with an online enquiry system.
This self service enquiry system provides a claimant
access to information about their housing benefit. Information
includes details about the claim, for example weekly entitlement,
payment details and invoices.
Users are provided with a secure login that complies with
BS7799 to ensure that the confidentiality of information is not
breached.
- View details of housing benefit and council tax benefit awards
- Look at the details used to calculate the awards
- Review history of payments and invoices received
- View overpayments

How to sign-up
To use this facility please send an
e-mail to request your PIN and provide all of the following
information:-
- Your full name,
- Your current home address where you are claiming benefit,
- Your National Insurance Number and / or your Date of Birth
- Your nine digit benefit claim reference
(this
can be found on the top of the letters we have sent to you about
your benefit and begins with a 2).
We will then post to you your secure Personal Identification
Number (PIN) and details of the web address (URL) you will need to
log-in and access this facility. For security reasons the PIN will
not be issued by email and we will use the postal address we have
registered for the benefit claim.
If the above link does not generate the e-mail for you please
send your request to ltbsystems@peterborough.gov.uk,
with a subject line of 'Benefits Online PIN request', and confirm
the information listed above in the body of the e-mail
message.

you have your Claim Reference and security PIN, you can use
