The Peterborough Festival - 2007
The Embankment Weekend
The Gangsters
The Gangsters - a seven-piece, highly-fuelled band with
originality at the forefront of their sound. Totally committed,
driven, with a hard-hitting and infectious infusion of dance, this
band will have all die-hard music lovers skanking and grooving.
The Gangsters have been touring the dance-floors of Britain
from their local hometown of Peterborough to the Coast of Brighton
and the City of Manchester; they hope to be playing a venue near
you soon.
Formed by singer songwriter Sterret Lee Hall and bassist
songwriter James Lamonte, the Gangsters enjoyed playing to vast
crowds all over the country, supporting and playing alongside Bad
Manners, The Selecter, Hepcat, and the Godfather of Ska, Mr Laurel
Aitken.
