Do I need to make an application?

You need to apply for Building Regulation permission to carry out most building work, but there are some exceptions.

 

Remember that your work may also need Planning permission 

 

Because there are so many possible variations of work which may need planning permission but not building regulations consent, building regulations consent but not planning consent, both or neither - things can become a little confusing!
