Mapping of Roadworks
ELGIN Website
Information relating to works by statutory undertakers (e.g. utility companies) on Peterborough's road network can be viewed on the ELGIN website, which also covers neighbouring authorities. Upon accessing ELGIN the roadwork information can be displayed either by text or displayed graphically on a map.
Please note:
-
Some roadworks may not be displayed
The majority of the information is supplied
by external companies and as such the Council cannot guarantee
its accuracy.
- Not all roadworks are positioned accurately
The majority of the information is supplied by utility companies. Current legislation only requires location by road and exact map co-ordinates are optional. Consequently roadworks symbols are located at the end or the middle of the named roads unless a map reference is provided. It is anticipated that new regulations will make the provision of map co-ordinates mandatory in the future.

The ELGIN website works best with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
-
