Where do I go for my training?
Our Training Computer Suite is located within Peterborough City Council's city centre complex at Bayard Place, Broadway, PE1 1FZ 
 
Do you only provide training for employees of the council?
No!  We provide training to council staff, businesses and the general public
 
Do you have wheelchair access?
Our training room is located on the ground floor with easy wide access for wheelchair users.
 
Which course is right for me?
Our range of standard training courses covers all levels from Beginners to Advanced however if you are unable to determine which is right for you we will be happy to discuss our courses in detail if you get in touch. Tel 01733 317953 or email computer.training@peterborough.gov.uk
 
How is the training delivered?
Each training session is tutor led using tried and tested practical examples of the content topics.
 
How do I know which level course to book?
Foundation if you are self taught, want to get to know every day shortcuts or are just starting out, discuss with us for anything else.
 
Can you design a course for my specific needs?
We are happy to consult with you about any specific training required to develop your own or your staff  computer skills and can create customised sessions to meet your needs.
 
What do I need to bring with me?
Apple for the teacher!  We will provide refreshments for the day and if you wish to bring a note pad and pen 'just in case' then feel free to do so.
 
Will I get to take anything away at the end of the course?
You will receive a manual at the end of the course and any printouts that you may have done during the course and a certificate of attendance.
 
Are your trainers professionally qualified?
Our 4 trainers are all ECDL qualified, they each have various ECDL Advanced certificates, two are ECDL Experts, one also has a Certificate in Education, all 4 have been trained and certified by the Institute of IT Trainers and are TAP certified.  TAP is fast becoming the industry standard for IT Trainers.
 
What time do the courses start and finish?
  • 1 day courses start at 9:30am and finish at 4:30pm
  • ½ day courses run either 9:30am to 12:30pm or 1:30pm to 4:30pm
  • Times can vary for bespoke/ customised courses
 
What's the maximum number of delegates on a course?
Routinely we restrict course sizes to 6 delegates but on occasion can seat more for customised sessions.
