Outside Europe it is known as the International Computer Driving
Licence (ICDL).
.
For many years ICT Training has offered a programme of high
quality IT training for Council staff, local businesses and the
public. These courses are not certificated: there is no exam as
part of our courses.
ECDL is a certified qualification (endorsed by the British Computer
Society) that verifies your computer knowledge and practical
computing skills. It is recognized throughout Europe and
increasingly outside Europe, and has been designed to meet the
needs of both employers and employees.
There are 7 ECDL modules covering core IT skills:

ICT Training is an accredited Test Centre for ECDL and can
offer you the opportunity of sitting the tests necessary to attain
the qualification.
