Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Forum
The forum meets every three months to discuss all matters pertaining to the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire trade.
Their members are representatives of the Private Hire and the Hackney Carriage trade. They are elected by licensed drivers to represent their views for a period of two years.
Peterborough City Council is in the process of offering all hackney carriage drivers, for the protection of the driver and the public, a CCTV camera. The driver just pays for the fitting (£99 + VAT) and does not own the camera. The images can only be downloaded by the police.
