How to make an appeal if issued with a penalty charge notice
Appeals for Penalty Charge Notices must be made in
writing, by one of the following methods, to:

All Appeals should be made within 21 days of the penalty charge notice being issued - this will then ensure that the discounted payment of £50.00 is held for the remaining discounted days should your appeal be rejected.

All Appeals should be made within 21 days of the penalty charge notice being issued - this will then ensure that the discounted payment of £50.00 is held for the remaining discounted days should your appeal be rejected.
Appeals must give the reasons and supply any evidence for the
appeal and quote the fixed penalty notice reference
number.
An Officer, independent of the case, will study the evidence,
and write to you within 28 days to inform you, with reasons, if the
appeal is being dismissed or allowed.
If you appeal against the Penalty Notice, legal action will
not be started until after any appeal is heard. If an appeal is
allowed, no legal action will be taken.

At this stage you will have opted not to take advantage of the
discounted period, and charge of £50.00, and accordingly the
full amount of £75.00 will be due.
