- have a safe environment to grow up in
- are safeguarded from harm
- have enjoyable learning opportunities
- achieve their potential and succeed economically
- are engaged and supported within their communities
- resist engaging in crime and anti-social behaviour

We have also produced several annex
documents which provide further information about the
plan. This includes our needs
assessment which provides a detailed analysis of the needs of
children and young people living in Peterborough.
There are a number of key
strategies that underpin the delivery of the Children and Young
People Plan.
Our Children and Young People Plan has been submitted to Ofsted as part of our Annual Performance Assessment. Find out more about council inspections, including our 2006 Joint Area Review.
