Established in 1928, with the Head Office in Peterborough, Deafblind UK is a national charity offering over 2.6 million people across the UK living with Deafblindness, or a combined sight and hearing loss, practical daily-living support and access to vital information.

Deafblindness is one of the most challenging disabilities that a person can endure, and has been described as 'the loneliest condition in the world'.  Deafblind people rely on human contact to convey vital information and therefore often find themselves excluded from aspects of everyday life. By providing human support in the form of help at home, communication and mobility support, counselling, together with specially adaptive equipment, we help deafblind people achieve their full potential, whatever that may be.

We need volunteers like you to help us raise urgently needed funds and ensure that deafblind people can achieve some independence and continue to be part of the community.
