| As of 1st April 2009, there will be a 25p charge for the Text & Go service. This amount is agreed nationally and Peterborough City Council will not make any profit from the charge. The 25p recovers the cost that the council has incurred to date. The funds recouped are split between the mobile operator, the scheme operator and VAT and with the money saved we will be able to increase and improve the services we offer. |
